Environment Sketches

Sketch 1: Polluted ruins, deemed too industrial and desolate.

Sketch 2: Houses for the village, mixture of rustic and industrial elements.

Sketch 3: Castle layout, final design was to incorporate elements from all four.

Sketch 4: Final Castle Layout, based on traditional Medieval castle with some industrial elements such as pipes, metal supports and smoke stacks.

Sketch 5: Environment with colour. Use of a saturated palette to incorporate a design remeniscant of autumn. 

Sketch 5B: Night shot, to facilitate the inclusion of the day/night cycle.
